Maverick County Sheriff’s Office Apprehends Robbery Suspects

Two suspects, aged 17 and 19, taken into custody following reports of attempted break-ins

The Maverick County Sheriff’s Office received several calls on August 8, 2023, reporting two male subjects attempting to gain entry to several properties in the Las Brisas, Yucca Loop, Vanessa Street, and Casales Street areas of the county. One of the Deputy Constables of Precinct 2 assisted in the apprehension of the suspects.

Both suspects, aged 17 and 19, were taken into custody and the incident is currently under investigation. The Maverick County Sheriff’s Office reminds residents to be vigilant and to report any suspicious activity to law enforcement.
