Flores shared his enthusiasm: “We are back from a great 3 days out in Concan! It was not only a time for catching up on some rest and spending quality time with my wife and J3, but also for participating in one of our favorite cookoffs. I’m thrilled we could do it!”

Despite the relaxed approach to the competition, Choche’s BBQ made significant impressions:

  • Secured 4th place in Cooks Choice with their signature Texas Twinkies,
  • Earned 7th place with a delicious Key Lime Pie in the Dessert category,
  • Clinched a proud 2nd place with the Cuaya Soto Bloody Mary, a fan favorite from their bar,
  • Excelled with their Chicken reaching the final table,
  • Ranked 7th in the highly competitive Brisket category,
  • And notably, won 1st Place in Ribs, achieving back-to-back wins at Neal’s with their acclaimed “monster rib,” leading them to a 4th overall finish.

Flores won recognition at a cook off due to his commitment and the excellent barbecue from Team Choche’s BBQ, enhancing its status as a top choice for BBQ lovers.
